FREELANCE RATES
My hourly rates for production, editing and story editing, and consultation vary depending on the project, scope of work, and who’s asking.
I encourage you to reach out to me with opportunities and to discuss what's possible!
I also do pitch audits, pitch deck build-outs, and more. The rates for those asks are determined on a case by case basis.
I've invested and continue to invest substantially in my skill set and professional development so no, you may not "pick my brain" for free. However, I am open to brief chats with students and budding professionals.
E-payment is must for all services. No exceptions.
HOW I WORK
“Make cool shows that inform the world.”
This is my guiding principle, therefore I only work on shows that, even if in a small way, make the world a kinder, funnier, and/or more informed place.
I’m excited to work on diverse teams. If your team is not diverse, my enthusiasm will be, well, curbed.
I’m very flexible and I tend to work on an “as needed” basis as opposed to a strict 9am-5pm. (I like to have tea, water my plants, take my girls to the dog park, and buy fresh produce in the mornings.).
I believe in a quality product and a quality production method: it’s important to me that everyone on our team feels respected, included, and delighted by the working experience.
Failure to plan or prioritize on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.
My rates are listed: If you cancel a recording or work request up to 48 hours before it is due to take place, you will not be charged.
Direct deposit only.
Payment of invoices is due 30 days upon receipt (or before!) unless agreed otherwise and I only take direct deposit.
I charge a 20% late fee every day after.
Everyone is doing their best. If I flag any issues with you, know that I will always be as considerate and respectful as possible and I ask that you do the same for me.
